Rajnath Singh lauded the contribution of Professor Namwar Singh

 New Delhi,July 28(Fast Mail):--Union Home Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh today lauded the contribution of Professor Namwar Singh to Hindi literature, calling him a beacon who bust the myth of popularity by achieving the kind of fame usually reserved for celebrities, sports stars or politicians, as a litterateur.

 

Professor Namwar Singh, who turned 90 today, was felicitated at the first Cultural Dialogue Series organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts.

 

The program today was attended by dignitaries including Union Minister Dr. Mahesh Sharma and Girishwar Misra, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Antarrashtriya Hindi Vishwavidyalaya.
