Air quality improves in Delhi, NCR

New Delhi,Nov 14:-- Air quality improves and level of pollutants decline in Delhi and NCR for last two days. The Central Pollution Control Board ADG Dr. D Saha said it is expected that this trend will continue and air quality will improve further.


Talking to AIR, Mr Saha said rain is expected in Delhi-NCR, in next two days that will settle down the pollutants in the region.


The air quality index stood at 417 at 6 this morning. AQI ranges from 0 to 500, with 500 being the worst air quality. Bright sunshine on Monday removed a blanket of smog at Delhi and its adjoining areas.




According to the MeT department, the visibility remained at 700- 1000 metres at 5.30 Tuesdya morning. MeT department said there will be a clear sky during the day.


Meanwhile, the Delhi government yesterday moved the National Green Tribunal, seeking amendment to its order on odd-even car rationing scheme
