Four army personnel killed in J&K road mishap

Srinagar,Dec 2:-- In Jammu and Kashmir, four army personnel were killed and one injured after their car fell into a 400-feet deep gorge in Ramban district last night.

 

Police said the accident took place when the car going from Srinagar to Jammu skidded off the highway and fell into gorge near Shaitani Nallah in the Banihal belt.

 

In the mishap, four Army personnel died on the spot and one was injured, police said. The injured has been admitted to the Hospital in Banihal.

 

The jawans reportedly posted in Tral in South Kashmir with the Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry have been identified as Pawan Kumar and Vijay Kumar of Jammu; and Om prakash and Pawan Kumar of Udhampur.
