Higher education should also improve level of knowledge, says President

New Delhi,Nov 18:-- President Ram Nath Kovind today said higher education should not only serve the purpose of getting good jobs but also improve the level of knowledge in students.

 

Addressing a function in Delhi University today, Mr Kovind said universities should have a long-term goal of improving the society through quality education standards.

 

Calling Delhi university as one of the best universities, Mr Kovind said performance by the university is commendable.

 

He said as higher education is becoming competitive day by day, Delhi University should further improve its ranking in the world and must come in top 200 universities.
