South West monsoon touches Valsad in South Gujarat

Gandhinagar,Jun 16:-- South west monsoon has touched Valsad in South Gujarat and condition is favorable for its advancement in some more parts of the state.

 

AIR Ahmedabad correspondent reports that coastal Saurashtra and south Gujarat have already received pre-monsoon showers during last fortnight. The people of Gujarat are eagerly waiting the onset of South west monsoon in the state.

 

After the pre- monsoon showers in Saurashtra and South Gujarat, the people now are facing hot and humid weather with increased humidity. Local weather office has predicted light rain or thunder showers at isolated places during next few days. However for the active onset of monsoon in the entire state, people have to wait for few more days.
