Three dead in stampede at Simaria ghat in Bihar

 Patna,Nov 4:-- In Bihar, three women were killed in a stampede at Simaria Ghat in Begusarai district this morning. The incident took place when a huge crowd was moving towards Simaria ghat on the banks of the Ganga river to take holy dip on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. Expressing grief over the incident, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced an ex gratia of four Lakh rupees to the next of the kin of each deceased.
