3 Kolkata tourists drown in Bakkhali sea

Kolkata, Jun 26:-- Three persons, including a woman and an infant, from Kolkata, out on a weekend trip, drowned in the Bay of Bengal at Henry Island near Bakkhali in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district on Saturday, reports said on Sunday.

 

According to reports, a group of tourists had started swimming in the sea in late afternoon and four of them suddenly drowned in the water.

 

Locals rescued one woman alive while remaining three went missing in the deep sea.
